Would it be dumb to have the flower girl dresses have the same detail as the bride?
No, in fact traditionally, the flower girls dress is suppose to be a replica of the bride's dress, she is suppose to symbolize the innocents of the bride.
Reply:NO NOT AT ALL !!!!
Reply:no lots of bride do it and it looks beautiful in the pictures too
Reply:many people have the flower girl in a dress like the bride it looks great in pictures
Reply:NO
Reply:Not at all. Actually, some dress manufacturers make flower girl dresses to match the bride's (but a kiddie version, higher neckline, straps if there aren't any on the gown, etc.). My flower girl's dress was adorned with the lace off the shawl that came with mine that I didn't want to wear because the company didn't make a flower girl dress that matched my gown (of course, the next year, they did). Anyway, everyone commented on how wonderful it looked.
Reply:no it would look cute! but it should be alittle different- ex, pink floers instead of white or no lace trimmig

good luck :)
Reply:No!.... Cause That is usually the way it is she is like a mini you thats is why its cute to have the flower girl looking like you do!
Reply:I am in the process of planning my wedding, and this is what I am looking for. I want the flower girl to have the same details as my dress. I haven't seen a lot of weddings done like this, probably due to the fact that it is difficult to match the two. But when it is done, it is soooo beautiful. I say go for it:)
Reply:ya
Reply:Your gown is very pretty! In a wedding of my nephew where my son was the ring bearer, the flower girl was a mini of the bride, and it was awesome!
Reply:They make flower girl dresses to match the bride on purpose. It is your choice.
Reply:The details are not an issue, but the dresses are meant to compliment and show off the bride on her special day. As long as the bride still feels like she stands out, then go for it. Good luck!
Reply:Some people like it that way. It's just personal preference.
Reply:Thats perfectly acceptable, and looks nice :)
Reply:I would think that is the brides decision and if she wants this then it is fine.
Reply:No, most are either similar to the brides (white) or the same color as the bridesmaids.
Reply:Yes. She's supposed to be spay-shul on her spay-shul day.
Reply:It is not dumb.It is a lovely idea. On the other hand, my dress is strapless so I wanted my flower girl to have more coverage. I know that she was supposed to resemble me in some way but i was considerin the fact that she is a little girl so I put her in a sleeveless dress with decoration similar to mine..

Good luck!!
Reply:No. Not at all. It's your wedding and you can do exactly what you want.

That blue dress is beautiful.
Reply:OH my that is soo freaken cute. Your making me want a flower girl!!!
Reply:it is your day you have what you want, there are not set rules just as long as you and your groom are happy that is all that matters
Reply:NO WAY!!!!
Reply:i dont think so. just without the vail. little girls are the cutest.!
Reply:No, that's fine.
Reply:No, I think that it would look cute. =)
Reply:no thats cute
Reply:Yes, consider that the flower girl's parents will have to pay for her dress if she wants to be in the wedding. First of all, they have to pay for an already ridiculously priced dress which their daughter will only get to wear once in her whole life. Also, the little girls will probably grow out of them within several months anyway and therefore they won't be used anyway. Why would you want to put the burden on buying a dress with even more detail at an even greater price just to match the bride? It's better to let them find a simpler dress that their little girl might be able to use again.
Reply:Yes.
Reply:no...it'll look cute!!!
