Processional Timing? What do you think?

The aisle is about 70 feet, and the Bridal Party goes like this:

Mother of Groom

Mother of Bride

Best Man and Maid of Honor

Flower Girl and Ringbearer

Bride and Father

Should I do one song for everyone else and then a new song for me, and if so should I allow a decent pause after my music starts due to the aisle space or just have the music fade out? Not sure how it will work with that distance and your standard 3 minute song. All input is appreciated! Thanks!

Mark off 70' somehow (maybe if your house front is 20' - 3.5 times back and forth in front of the house - or your lot size is 40', just under 2 lot lengths) then walk slowly as if you're the group ahead of you and time it. Next time it with you walking even slower as the bride. This should give you a rough idea of how much time is needed.

Yes, different music for you and the bridal group before you. Once your music starts, you'll be able to see if everyone is seated, wait a few more seconds (about 10), then you begin. You should have enough time to get to the front, then the music continue end at the next musical phrase.

If you have a rough idea, you can fine tune it at the rehearsal. Good luck and Congratulations!!! =)
