What color works for Mom?

I'll have a white wedding gown with a clover green sash...

My bridesmaids will have clover green dresses...

I'll have green, white and victorian lilac accents...

My flowers will be white roses with green accents...

So, what color dress would work for my Mom? I'm having a hard time visualizing it.

What color works for Mom?
1. Any shade of green

2. Peach

3. Champagne

4. Pink

5. Lilac or lavender

But my number one choice would be a different shade of green . . . that is, if Mom finds green flattering to her complexion.
Reply:Color is not that important as long as it does not clash with your gown. Just let your mom look great and feel beautiful too.

Reply:all color are pretty !
Reply:Any neutral color should work just fine. What is your mom's favorite color? My colors are red %26amp; white with black accent and the dress my mother has picked out (of course she'll change her mind 50 times in the 6 months...she's like that) is eggplant. Her favorite color is purple. When my brother married 11 years ago, us bridesmaids were in dark green and my mother wore a darker gray, semi sparkley dress.
Reply:She could do a charcoal grey, or silvery lilac dress. Maybe even an emerald green dress. I'd go shopping with her and see what pops out at you--sometimes that's what you've got to do. Just hit the store and see what catches your attention the most.

Good luck!
Reply:Any color and style of dress she feels fab in - but not white, black, nor the wedding colors exactly. So she could wear a hunter green, dusty rose - or something in the blues family, for example.
Reply:I think lavender or purple. Pink might also be nice.
Reply:Why not ask your mom if she has a preference. It sounds like you already have a lot of clover green, so a lighter green may work. Or even a lilac, but she doesn't have to match. Why don't you go dress shopping together and see what you find.
Reply:Champagne would be nice, I think. Lilac would be nice too since a lot of your stuff is green. You could also ask her if she already had something in mind.
Reply:My bridesmaids dresses will also be clover and I will wear white. My flowers are fuchsia orchids. My Mom is wearing black %26amp; white. I don't want her to match the bridesmaids (green) and I cant put her in fuchsia, so I figured she would fit in perfectly combining a bit of white (like my dress) and a bit of black (like the guys suits) with a corsage that matches the bouquets %26amp; boutenniers but adding a little more greenery to hers.
Reply:pretty dresses...

why not white and green
Reply:Depending on your mom's coloring, the terracotta color from the link to your bridal gown might be nice. If it works within your color palette.

I also liked the idea that some posted above of champagne.
Reply:i think ivory or beige with the same clover green accents would be nice
Reply:Your mom should wear a color that looks good with HER skintones so she will feel beautiful. She is not a member of the wedding party and her dress does not need to coordinate with your bridesmaids dresses.
