Wedding help...... Please!?

Okay so I changed my wedding date from June to September. My colors are red/white and I'm going to add pink. The pink is just a accent color for the bouquets, centerpieces, candy buffet, rose petals, etc.. My dress is apple red and white my fiancee will wear white tux. Bridal party apple red dresses, groomsmen black tux apple vest/tie, flower girls white/apple red. I don't know what color pink to add. There are so many pinks, pale pink, rose pink, light pink and pink pink! please help. Oh yeah September 6 is still summer so no fall suggestion please and thanks.

Wedding help...... Please!?
I would go with a very light pink or pale pink. The apple red is a strong colour and if you use a rose or hot pink it will clash. Just enough pink to link your colour scheme, that is from red to light pink to white. Try taking a ribbon the same colour as the red and put ribbons with the different pinks beside the red and white to see which looks best. Hope this helps. Congratulations
Reply:If I were you I would probably go with the light pink. I think that the light pink would be light enough so that people would notice it, but not overpower the other main colors. You probably would know best though because you know what all the dresses/outfits look like and the rest of the ceremony and reception. If I were you I would probably try going someplace like a flower shop or fabric store where you can find the colors that you are using and see which pink goes best. Good luck and congratulations!
Reply:I would definitely go with a very pale pink to just merely accent the red and white. Personally I feel if you go with anything that is too bright of a pink it will be very Valentine's Day looking.
Reply:light pink sounds good but why not go for a complimentary color like a light sage color. Use the color wheel and pick the opposite of where you red is? I was aiming for a fall wedding and knew I wanted sage but couldn't come up wtih anything else. I then added cranberry red and a tan or champagne color to highlight and or compliment the other two.

Just a suggestion. Know someone who an artist or even an art teacher? they will tell you about the power of color and what is the perfect compliment for your red.
Reply:All of the dresses look beautiful. However, the best thing might be to try on a couple of dresses and have a friend take photos. Dresses always look VERY different when you try them on. If this is impossible, get e friend who knows about photo editing software edit pictures of you into the dresses. This way you will at least have a better idea of what YOU will look like in them.

A bride can never look bad, but I also know that this is YOUR day and you want it to be PERFECT.
Reply:Pale pink, light pink, and pink pink, in my opinion, will not go well with your white and apple red wedding. I believe you will find rose pink to give just the right accent to your wedding. If you don't mind me saying, those colors sound wonderful for your September wedding. Why did you choose to add apple red to the traditional white? I'm only curious. Good luck and congratulations!
