Wedding dress with veil?

This is my wedding dress

Now, the reason why I posted that is because I'm having a veil issue. For the most part, I hate veils. I do, however love mantilla style veils. Would a mantilla-style veil (finger tip length or cathedral) look bad with this dress? If so, I'm just going to put flowers in my hair, lol.

Oh! If this matters, I have very long, dark brown hair. I am wearing it down and wavy.

Veils I like:

Wedding dress with veil?
all those veils are pretty and would look great with that dress. That said, I think veils are a huge rip-off in the whole rip-off wedding industry. I made my sister's veil and my best friend veil for both their weddings. I didn't wear a veil, but I got married in Vegas, so whatever. My sister's veil I completely hand beaded two layers. material cost? $12, $10 of it being the beads. and it looked just like a veil from the store. My best friend's veil cost $6 and we put it on fancy combs. So yea, pretty veils, huge waste of money. :)
Reply:go with flowers all the veils there are too light to match the dress. that dress would call for something with beading and some more weight to it.
Reply:The second is amazing!
Reply:WOW WHAT A BEAUTIFUL dress!! WOW! I have never been married (yet) but for a veil I think the last link you have is so beautiful! also the 2nd link but I think it would go lovely with your dress as long as colors match!
Reply:No I think it will be pretty. I would go with one more like the first. One with a more plain design would be better. I would worry about the color of the veil (since your dress is more of an ivory than a white), and the quality of the material. I think at least a fingertip length would go really well with this dress. Just think simple, not too crazy with cut or design since you've already got so much gong on with the dress. A mantilla if you have noticed are usually more extravagant and are usually worn with a "simpler" dress. I would just worry about doing too much or clashing too many ideas or design together. You don't want a "loud" or extravagant veil to take away from your dress Beautiful dress by the way!! Oh, if you are wearing your hair down, you better make sure it is going to be cool!! I was so hot at my wedding, even though I was in a church by the time we got all those bodies in there and me in floor length gown with a semi-cathedral train and all the makeup, I was burning up, and my hair was up! I could just imagine if it was down!!
Reply:Your dress is gorgeous! It has great lines... Personally, I think that the 2nd veil is the way to go! It has a pretty drape style and it would look ah-mazing w/ the dress. Good luck on your special day!!!
Reply:I really think that a shorter veil would look better. The last picture is a very unique veil, i like how it is not common.
Reply:Third or second one is my choice. Enjoy your wedding and I will try on your style dress when I go to David's in a few days, it is beautiful!
