Limo or no Limo?

Should we get a limo for our entire Bridal party or just a car for us?

The distance between Church and Photo location and Hall is a 3 mile radius with driving distance of 5 minuets MAX.

We Have:

5 brides maids

5 Groomsmen

2 Jr Bridesmaids

2 Jr Grooms men

Flower Girl and Ring Bearer

total: 18 people

Limo or no Limo?
I think you wanta car for yourselves....I mean you JUST GOT MARRIED and you want to be able to take that all in TOGETHER.

Bes of luck

Reply:With 18 people you'd have to get a big stretch limo, maybe one of those stretch Hummers. You'll end up paying a lot of money for a 5 minute ride. And if the bridal party is leaving their cars at the church how are they getting back?

If you do get the limo I suggest enjoying it a little more with a drive around before you get dropped off. Or save your money and get a car for just the two of you. It'll be a lot more romantic.
Reply:Car for you!

Limos by the way are slowly being phased out, people are getting Rolls', Bentlys, and Vintage cars for a more upscale less tacky look!
Reply:If you are trying to save money, I would say skip the limo and just get a cool car for you and your betrothed to ride in from ceremony to reception, then to the honeymoon suite. I would think most of the bridal party could carpool to and from the locations. If all the girls are getting ready together, and going to the ceremony together, then get a limo. Or, what could be even more fun is a Party Bus. Good luck!
Reply:Get one of those big stretch cars, they can fit loads of people in them!
Reply:It takes longer to get in and out of limos so it is not worth it.

If you'd like a nice car for you and spouse than that is fine but I wouldn't bother with a limo.
Reply:Well, the entire bridal party won't fit into a regular sized limo. As long as you can rely on the bridal party to get to the photo location in a timely manner (without getting lost or making pit stops) I'd just have them meet you and save the money. Otherwise, the limo may save you time.
Reply:Renting a limo for a 5 minute trip sounds like a waste of money, and that many people wouldn't fit in one limo anyway. I'd say, get a nice car for you two, then ask around about vans to transport the rest of the party. You really should take care of transporting them, and it should be nice and clean and all, but it doesn't have to be anything fancy.
Reply:You really should transport your wedding party from the church to the photo location - - at minimum.

If you could leave your vehicles at the Hall and be picked up to go to the church, photo location, and hall it would be very nice.
Reply:If you are only spending 5 minutes in the limo it's probably a waste in the first place.....unless you choose a huge ballgown in which case you need to room in the backseat for your skirts.

But....you don't have to get an extra one. Have the car take you to the location then drop you off. They can swing around and pick up the bridal party sort of like a shuttle. You could even have them do the same for guests while you are getting shots taken.
Reply:I just got married and the best choice is to get just you and you husband in a white stretch limo.
Reply:personally I don't like limos so I might be a little biased but I think it's silly to rent a limo for 5 minutes is ridiculous.
